Fertility clinics can now offer women the ability to cryogenically preserve (freeze) their eggs so that later, if they wish to have a family, the egg can be thawed and fertilized. This process is not cheap. It costs about $10,000 for the initial freezing and then $500 per year thereafter for cryogenic storage. So it was rather surprising today when Facebook and Apple announced that they are going to start offering to pay for freezing their female employee's eggs. They wish to offer them this option in order to allow the women to put off having a family until later in life so that the employee can devote herself to her job.

um... I see interesting notes on both sides of this :) ~ first off: it's true that abusive over-controlling humans (prideful) will create far too many rules and only enforce them on those that they want to harrass - that's normal behavior for an abuser. So, dismantling much of that kind of rules system - makes sense. On the flip-side though, removing all rules (including the use of the word 'no') is like wanting kids to be free and learn things for themselves... but, a train is alway safer on the train-tracks than off them. God uses the word 'no' and we need to as well. Also, we need to remember that God is *always* right - rebellious humans are always wrong, unless they're agreeing with His holy character. A verse that dismantles modern-day satanic-inspired pyschology: "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction will drive it far from him."
