um... I see interesting notes on both sides of this :) ~ first off: it's true that abusive over-controlling humans (prideful) will create far too many rules and only enforce them on those that they want to harrass - that's normal behavior for an abuser. So, dismantling much of that kind of rules system - makes sense. On the flip-side though, removing all rules (including the use of the word 'no') is like wanting kids to be free and learn things for themselves... but, a train is alway safer on the train-tracks than off them. God uses the word 'no' and we need to as well. Also, we need to remember that God is *always* right - rebellious humans are always wrong, unless they're agreeing with His holy character. A verse that dismantles modern-day satanic-inspired pyschology: "Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction will drive it far from him." (Proverbs 22:15) ~ Remember, abuse is always different from truthful, loving discipline ~ sharing and praying, SH
