Twelve Hezbollah members killed in ambush near Damascus

"Twelve members of Hezbollah have been killed in an ambush near Damascus, Al Arabiya television reported Tuesday, quoting sources close to the Lebanese armed movement.
More than 20 other Hezbollah members, part of alleged military brigade deployed in Syria to defend President Bashar al-Assad, were also wounded in the attack, the sources said."

This appears to be further confirmation that Lebanese based Hezbollah is entering the Syrian civil war on Bashar al-Assad's side.

Damascus car bomb kills at least 25, injures 45

"At least 25 people were killed and 45 wounded in a car bomb explosion in central Damascus on Monday, Syrian state TV said.
“Terrorists detonated a car bomb between the Sabaa Bahrat square and Shahbander Street," said the report, adding that preliminary information suggested the explosion was a suicide attack."
